Hello Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Trey and I spent ours at a marriage preparation retreat. We both left motivated and more excited than ever to be getting married. I honestly wish I could pour my heart out and tell you how great the retreat was, but I’m afraid I can’t do it justice.

I do want to share more for readers who are interested down below. But for readers who don’t want to hear me ramble can stop before the divider :).

I recently came upon these Nike Air Max Theas when searching for a cute, comfortable, and versatile sneaker. I honestly am not a sneakers girl. I own only one other pair of athleisure nike’s and one pair of running shoes. But when I saw these I could not pass them up! The blush pink color is really a neutral which makes it easy to pair with so many outfits. I also love that it still gives this short girl a half an inch in height. I cannot rave enough about them and can’t wait to take them on my honey moon for exploring (we’re pretty set on Europe).

*For reference, I’m wearing a size 7. I’m a 6.5 in heels and a 7 in sneakers and boots, if that helps. When in doubt, size a half size up for these sneakers.

What I will say is that if you live in the Atlanta area or even further out and you’re looking for a Christian based marriage preparation class/course/retreat/whatever, I highly, highly recommend Three to Get Married. Even if you and your significant other are not engaged, but are seriously wanting to take the next step and aren’t sure where to go because of different reasons, I would look into this retreat. It’s a Catholic based retreat, but you absolutely do not have to be Catholic to attend it, in fact we had several couples attend with us who were not Catholic. If you are looking for a Christ based marriage preparation retreat this is for you!!

It’s not a weekend where you’re sitting in a chapel praying all day, its not a retreat where religious and other married couples tell you what’s wrong with your relationship. It’s a retreat that really helped Trey and I understand the meaning, importance, and gravity of the decision we’re about to make. It also helped us identify and learn the strengths and weaknesses in our relationship. I cannot even begin to explain how great each portion of the retreat was! We both walked away learning so much about not just God in a relationship, but also guidance on areas like finances, children, natural family planning, conflict resolution (huge for us), I mean the list could go on and on. I really can’t say enough, I don’t know how. I know every couple is different, but I truly believe almost every couple at this retreat walked away just in awe. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to me. I’d be more than happy to help in anyway I can.
