Reviewing Topshop Peg Trousers - Work Appropriate - Wen & Wear

Pants: Topshop (in rose & in green) | Sweater: J.Crew | Fur vest: old (similar here & here) | Heels: Sole Society ‘Madeline’ | Sunglasses: Quay ‘Paradiso’

#WhatIWoretoWorkWednesday: The high waisted pant. If you know me, you know that up until recently, I hated to wear pants. For the longest time, I was strictly a dress or romper girl. Leggings were the only form of pants I wore for years. And then I had to grow up and get a job. So came the time to find some pants that were appropriate for the work place, but also comfortable – that was key.

I’ve never been the conservative type when it comes to professional clothing. Sure, I have my fair share of navy and black pants/dresses, but I’ve always been very colorful at the office. And as you can see, these pants are no exception.

I discovered these Topshop peg trousers a couple of years ago, and have been absolutely obsessed with the style (wearing the white version here & navy ones here). Not only are they comfortable, but also the high waist style elongates my short frame. I also love the crop cut, which hits this 5’2 girl right at the ankles (**wearing a size 4 regular). I’m wearing the blush color, which is sold out, but the rose color looks beautiful!

There’s still some chilly days ahead of us, but spring is right around the corner and these pink pants are the perfect splash of color after a drab winter.

Thanks for stopping by!
