We finally got around to taking some save the date pictures and to my relief, managed to place our order too. The whole thing has been stressing me out for weeks.
Trey has been the man behind the camera for all my blog pictures, but when it was time for him to get in front on the lens, he was exactly how I expected him to be – awkward and uncomfortable. Our photographer wanted us to be smiling, but natural and at ease. But there’s nothing natural about trying to be natural, at least not for us. The whole shoot I’m telling Trey to smile naturally, “pretend like I said something funny”. That wasn’t going well.
So we changed poses, and our photographer tells us to look into each other’s eyes and smile. And this is the best we got. So if you look at the second picture, it’s literally Trey going “I can see your pupil!” -_-
Anyways, I’m just happy it’s another thing we can check off our list. We ended up ordering our save the dates from Wedding Paper Divas because a friend told me about a 50% off promotion they had going on. The site is always having promotions, so if you’re interested, I’d check them out.
We went with a post card style, where our picture is in the front and on the back you can include all the details, then all you have to do is pop a stamp on and its ready to send off.
