I can’t believe the weekend is here! I’m so looking forward to finally being able to catch up on some sleep (hopefully).
Last weekend Trey and I drove up to the mountains to go “apple picking”. Really, we just go for the fried apple pies, apple cider, and pictures. It was so nice to feel some crisp fall weather and to see the leaves finally changing. It was so funny because we got there early to beat the crowd, but there were barely any apples left on trees. We had to go up and down a half a dozen rows before we spotted some reds. The ladies at the orchard told us it’s just become such a popular fall activity that they have to limit how many apples people can pick because it’s not even halfway through the season and trees are basically bare.
We were just happy eating apple pie and soaking in the views. Thank goodness for these Sole Society Olive booties, which held up and were comfortable enough to get me up and down the hillside. They are definitely one of my favorite pairs I picked up this season. This ASTR Plaid Wrap Dress will also be a staple this season. It’s so comfortable and so easy to throw on. Although, if I’m not careful, I might flash somebody…so definitely wear shorts underneath!
*Side note: the dress sold out quickly. Happened to me, but I kept an eye on it and it ended up being restocked in all sizes. For reference, I’m wearing a size small, it runs a bit big on top, but I wanted the bigger size for length.
Enjoy your weekend!
